1.
I won't ever forget you No matter how hard I try Every time I try to switch off You pop up as clear as mud No I won't ever forget you Cos you wont let me try Whenever I'm feeling hopeful You come to drag me back Poisoning anyone's ability to think Making sure the fruit is as rotten As your outlook on the world No I won't ever forget you Cos you wont let me try What are you good for? What are you good for? What are you good for? Perpetuate the power structure Give us a bite Hope we don't ask for too much Keep us in line I can't forget a time When I thought these things could change Now I'm angrier than I've ever been I'll make sure they see the fruit is rotten Before they swallow it whole No I won't ever forget you But you'll wish I'd try What are you here for? What are you here for? What are you here for? The profession of your father? This game costs us our lives Hope we don't ask for too much Keep up in line

All on my own I can't get away from it all You'd think not being in contact with the outside world It'd be better Stuck in this endless cycle No one knows what's right If I had any money I could've bet you'd capitalise Like you always do The same stories Going around and around And the same reality repeats itself but no one opens their eyes No one opens their eyes Touch the screen Try to relax I don't know why You can keep your claps and your bells They know it's just superficial gesture and noise Stuck in this endless cycle No one knows what's right If I had any money I could've bet you'd capitalise Like you always do The same stories Going around and around And the same reality repeats itself but no one opens their eyes No one opens their eyes
3.
You don't know me Even though you've heard all about me You don't know me Even though you think you do You'd be quite surprised if you ever met in person But you have You just didn't realise You don't know me Even though you've heard all about me You don't know me Even though you think you do I'm your doctor, your nurse, a teacher at your kid's school A researcher, a supermarket worker, The carer who looks after your Mum You don't know the hurt you cause When you believe every single word they say It doesn't even have to make sense For you to repeat it back to me It doesn't even have to make sense But you'll still become your worst enemy
4.
I don't know how long I can stay here It feels like we're suspended in space The ropes hold us tightly and secure But I think it might be a kind of relief to drop I say I don't know where we are going I don't know where we are going But in truth we're going nowhere In truth we know we're going nowhere

about

We are back expressing cynicism through song. This EP was a long time in the making and rose out of the all too predictable creative block of the pandemic. As a result it's about The Labour Party, The Tories, the media and us - in that order.

There's also some physical copies if you like singing in the car and also some T-shirt/CD bundles.

We hope you enjoy it and that there's something in it you can relate to - and we've just not made a deeply niche depressing set of songs for political nerds.
