Make It Right is an emotive response to those who wish to exclude trans and non-binary people from the fight for gender equality. A melodic howl of impassioned anger over a bed of off kilter acoustic and electronic rhythms, with searing slide guitars eventually mellowing into an ethereal dream like climax.

lyrics

[Intro]
You get together in your friendship groups
And talk about all you hate

[Verse]
Playing the victim as if nobody has it worse than you
I know it's hard to believe you're not the most oppressed minority
You're not the most oppressed minority

I'm not saying it's not been bad
I know I might have it a little better than you
But I'm not excluding anyone else from the fight
We all just want to make it right
We all just want to make it right

[Chorus]
But you're not my sister if you're telling me what to think or do
You're not my friend if you're telling me who else can be my friend

[Verse]
Is it not hard enough?
I think you just need a battle you can win
But my friend's enemy is not my enemy automatically
Existing's not a crime, it's not a crime

[Chorus]
But you're not my sister if you're telling me what to think or do
You're not my friend if you're telling me who else can be my friend
